Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I have an ancestor - Thomas Guest (1773-1858) from Seven Oaks, Kent.Thomas's son, George, was a saddler who travelled as a free emigrant to Australia. I believe my Thomas is your Thomas, and would like to see the gravestone - I have found a wealth of information that really puts my ancestors' lives into context. I am finding myself more and more fascinated by the social history relevant to the areas and eras where my genes orginate from!

I am quite certain this is my 5 x maternal grandfather!!! We have the same dates from several sources for the birth and death. I am wondering if there are process to decipher the illegible writings? Would be absolutely sensational if technology were available to do so! There most probably would be mention of his wife, Martha (nee Collins)...
(requested on 29 12 2014)
Thomas and Martha Guest were my 3x great grandparents.
(requested on 27 01 2017)
He is 7th or 8th times my grandfather. His son George emigrated to Australia in 1832.
