Notes about St Nicholas Church burial ground

St Nicholas is located next to Rochester Cathedral and is now used as diocesan offices. The gravestones listed here are either on the walls of the church, in the graveyard attached to the Cathedral, in the green area in front of the church, or in the Castle moat across the road. It is not clear if some of the graves are in the Cathedral precinct in which case they may be entered in the Cathedral rather than St Nicholas burial registers.
