Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

My mother, Margaret Mitchell Sneddon was named for Margaret Mitchell Sneddon Todd, who was my father's sister. Just figured that out today. My mother was born in Scotland and immigrated to Lake Forest, IL in 1907. I always wondered why her middle name was Mitchell. Now I know.

I am pretty sure Margaret Todd is Margaret Mitchell Sneddon Todd, the namesake of my mother, Margaret Mitchell Sneddon Larsen who was born June 28, 1906 in Borgue, Scotland, came to America with her whole family, in 1907, and lived in Lake Forest, Illinois for the rest of her life. She died in 2002 and is buried in the Lake Forest Cemetery.
