Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I can totally understand your frustrations as mentioned, as this kind of thing is a labour of love and often not appreciated. I was born Sally Sayer and five or six generations back we hit a dead end because a Jane Calvert never married, but had a son whom she named George Sayer Calvert. After her death he dropped the Calvert and became George Sayer. We may never know why but this is the second time only that the Sayer name and Calvert name have come together. All this happened in Brotton in late 1700s. This headstone may provide a clue. If you need any ground work done in Melbourne, Australia, I'd be happy to take some pics for you. Thanks heaps, Sally

Married Harold Septimus Calvert 2nd qtr Leeds District. Died 9th Jul 1960 and was born 25th Aug Kirby Stephen Westmorland. She is the wife of my 1st Cousin twice removed.
