Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

John Eden and Bertha Dury (his daughter) are part of my Eden family. I had no idea he was buried in Clutton with his daughter. He originally lived in Bristol with his wife Sarah Holmes and family but tragedy struck when she and five of their children died from cholera within a year. He then married his housekeeper Mary Ann Eley and moved back to London, with Bertha and her brother John William Holmes Eden (my direct line descendent).
