Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

My Mother Anne Maureen Rochester and I are planning on coming to England from Georgia U.S.A. in May 2015. We visited the grave of her Grandfather (George E. Rochester) and also her Grandmother ( Christina Jane Rochester)in May 2013 in Alnmouth. We are interested in the History of the Rochester family also the Mitchell Family, George E. Rochester Grandmother (Mary Mitchell Rochester). We do not know the name of GE Rochester father we were told that he was given his mothers name because he was born out of wedlock. We do know that George E Rochester was the Golf Pro and Designed the village golf course in Alnmouth and sea houses which we visited in 2013. Also George E. Rochester my Grandfather also from Alnmouth was a author of boys aviation books. His ashes along with his wife Dorcus Shotton were spread in Canterbury, Kent. So, our interest grows as we see more Rochesters in St. Michael's Church! Thank you, Julie DeVore jdevore120@gmail.com
