Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

The older William and Margaret are my direct ancestors- my 6x great grandparents. Although I actually live in south Northumberland I am disabled and can not get to Alnwick let alone Bamburgh! Thank you so much to everyone who has spent time doing this.

I am looking for any Arkles in this region of NOrthumberland; I am trying to find the parents of my GGGG grandmother Elizabeth Arkless Thompson McDonald b abt 1740 who died in Belford abt 1817. As there do not seem to be a lot of Arkles about at that time, I am collecting names of potential kin. Many thanks fo ryour help! Kind Regards, Lorene

I believe William and Margaret Arkel to be my 6th Great Grandparents. I don't live near at all so it would be difficult to go myself to the graveyard to see it for myself.
(requested on 08 04 2020)
William & Margaret were my 5g grandparents. Their son Matthew was my 4g grandfather
