Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am preparing an edition of a work on the law by Sarah Chapone, who was married to the Rev John Chapone in Gloucestershire. He died in 1759, and their son John died in 1761, so it appears unlikely that this refers to either of them, but the name is not common, and I would be very interested in learning more about this entry for Shurdington. The Rev. John Chapone was recorded as first a curate, and then the incumbent at Badgeworth from the 1740s until his death, and he was also vicar at Childswickham.
