Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Family history. William Sparkes is probably the older brother of my great, great, great grandfather, Thomas Sparkes (19 Mar 1762 - 19 May 1826). One of Thomas' grandsons, Alfred Camps Sparkes, came to Australia in 1858. I photographed several Sparkes headstones according to the plan in the Church when I visited Aldeburgh three weeks ago. But they did not include this William Sparkes. Incidentally, Thomas Sparkes married Mary Crabbe at St Peter & St Paul on 2 Oct 1786. Mary was the younger sister of the celebrated George Crabbe. I would like to help your project, but that is probably difficult from Australia. Regards Leslie McBride

Family history search. William Sparkes was an older brother of Thomas Sparkes, my great great great grandfather, born in Aldeburgh in 1762. As indicated with an earlier request this evening (Melbourne time), I regret that living in Australia makes it difficult for me to help with your resource.
