|1923||37||1886||first name on monument||A Right-wing royalist activist of 'Action franšaise' before WW1; he was mutilated and left partially deaf after heroic action in WW1. After the war he returned to his political activities and became a leader of the far right movement. Founder of the 'Camelots du roi'; a quasi-militia wing of the movement; he was assassinated by an anarchist in 1923 (and not 1926 as indicated on the plaque).
