Doing Family research, Find conflicting dates on death of Dr. John Jagger Pickles. Have records for 1st December and 21st December 1925. Hope that the headstone will shed some light on this question. On a side note, Dr. Philip Dobson Pickles was in the R.N.V.R. Served on the H.M.S. Russell, Poisoned by gas fumes as the result of the explosion, when the ship struck two mines off Malta. He died the next day in Royal Naval Hospital, Malta. 28 Apr 1916. This is also where he was laid to rest. Malta Naval Cemetery. Kalkara, Southern Harbour, Malta Regards John Paul Critchley
