Searching for descendants of Thomas Shanks of Johnstone, his son was William George Shanks who's death took place in Johnstone 29th July 1919, in his eighty-first year. His Son was Charles Fred Shanks We are searching for any living relative to obtain a Deed of Easement for a Community garden project for youths in the Community with the Thomas Shanks Park which was gifted by Mary Shanks (Sister of William George Shanks) in 1908 3 years before her death, wish to rule out Charles Fred Shanks and check if he had any children? Conditions in 1908 Disposition  1. To be held in perpetuity as a Public Park and recreation ground for the enjoyment and recreation of the inhabitants of Johnstone, who shall have access free of charge, and to be known as The Thomas Shanks Public Park.
