Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

My father Sydney Stonehouse, dob 27 April 1919 was sent to Australia as a 9 year old from a children's home in Teesdale Durham, after being falsely told that his mother(Elizabeth Anne Stonehouse-daughter of Emmanuel Pepper- blacksmith) He was told his father George Wilkinson Stonehouse was dead also. His older brother Horace James Stonehouse dob 6 Sept 1916 was left behind at the home. I have only just begun looking via internet since learning how to use a computor and discovered that there were two older siblings Violet dob 4 June 1904 and Ernest Alfred.dob 12 Oct 1906. My father was robbed of all family contact(the Authorities actually denied all information of their families to the "orphans"). My father spent his whole life terribly lonely and alone till he met and married my mother after WW2.(She was also a Stonehouse-family originating from Newcastle on Tyne). It is important to me to trace our family tree and record it for my children to pass down through successive generations in memory of my father. I found my mother is also descended from a William Calfe convict no 2710 sent to Fremantle West Australia on the Seapark.1854. He was born in Edmund St Bury Suffolk in the early 1800's. I have been taking digital photographs of the gravestones at the old colonial C of E church at Picton Western Australia where William and his wife were married in 1858 as I realised that many old graveyards are falling into disrepair and I find it sad that the records will be lost. My fathers Grandfather was a James Stonehouse quarryman/stonemason from the Durham area. Apparently there was also a James Stonehouse- one of our ancestors on my mothers side who was tavern keeper of the George & Dragon at Heighington.U.K. If you know of anyone who may be connected to: My Mothers family Stonehouses who built the market place clock at Newcastle on Tyne, or the Rev Joseph Stonehouse of Saint Saviours Nottingham. My fathers family: James father of George Wilkinson Stonehouse Elizabeth Anne wife of Geo W. Stonehouse Brother Ernest Alfred Stonehouse Sister Violet Stonehouse Please ask them to contact me. My postal address is P.O. BOX 8288 WARNBRO 6169 WESTERN AUSTRALIA.
