Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Susanna Parry (nee Keeton) was the sister of Benjamin Keeton formerly of Southwell in Notts who was part of a national emigration scheme of 1820 to Eastern Cape, South Africa. Benjamin founded a school, two churches and a native school there and because of his generosity he was permitted to name the district, some 80 sq miles, after his home town i.e. Southwell. Susanna lived in Southwell before marrying Dr Parry and moving to Harrogate and she helped Benjamin by raising funds for his projects. I am researching the story for the Southwell and District Local History Society in Notts and it would be great to have an image of the gravestone as part of my studies. I am visiting Harrogate in February but doubt I will have time to visit the graveyard. Thanks, kind regards, Rob S.

Susanna was married to the brother in law of my 4th Great Aunt. To help confirm my research I would like to add the photograph to my family Tree.
