Trying to trace Butters family tree (my Mother in law's side of the family). Currently stuck at her mother Marjorie Butters, born in Yarm 1920, and looking for any potential information on other relatives. Am researching the geneology of the Shannon family (the Quarrymen) of Cummertrees. Andrew descends from William Routledge Butters b 1873 who married Rosanna Carlyle whose mother was Susan Shannon b 1877 Cummertrees.
