Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Dear GPR, I am trying to trace the grave of my great aunt, who, according to our family oral history, is buried in a Penicuik graveyard. Her legal name was Jane Smith, but her nickname was Jeanie, and, as a child, was sent to live permanently with her grandparents, William and Jane McKenzie in Penicuik. Sadly, she died aged 12 in 1923, and it is possible that she was adopted as a member of the McKenzie family and so buried as Jeanie McKenzie rather than Jane Smith. William and Jane McKenzie also had a son called John, who died aged 11 in 1903, which would fit with one of the other names on the monument. It's also possible that the couple had another child who did not survive, although I can't find any info on this, which might account for the third name. Photos of the monument might help me find out -- please could you send them to me? Thank you for your help, With best wishes, Claire
