Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

My Mother and her parents lived with Leonard and Betty Birch during WWII 1943- 1945. We are hoping to locate his children and grandchildren to learn more about their family history. Our Mother, loved this family. She often wondered what became of them after WWII. She married an American serving in the 19th General Hospital in Malvern and they moved to the States. Her parents moved back to Antwerp Belgium. My Grandfather was a part of the Belgian army as part of government service in exile. We would love to meet the Birch family. My Mother's family name was Jeanne Verstraten. Her Father and Mother were Theodore and Marie Verstraten.

Leonard was a bell ringer and chaplain of the Worcestershire Bell ringers. I'm also interested to find out his wife's name, Betty, was an abbreviation of Elizabeth. I live in Worcester and am a current officer of the Worcester ringers and trying to complete some records.
