Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

These people were my Grandparents and Aunt. My mother was Laurena Kathleen May Thomas and her remains are here in Swansea with those of my father Reginald John RENDELL. - they were married at the Church in April 1941. John Gooding Thomas was one of three brothers - William (whose first wife is commemorated in yr stained glass window) and Charles. The family were well known in the village & Croyde where my grandparents lived at Down End. Their original house was Lytch Cottage (both built by the family who were builders of some repute). I spent a lot of my formative years around Croyde and Georgeham although my Dad's family moved from devon to Swansea and I grew up here. I was born at Braunton Nursing Home !
