John O'Brien Saunders' wife Adelaide (nee Reid) had an elder sister Anne Glover (nee Reid) who is my husband's gt gt gdmother. Adelaide and Anne were both born in Angers, France, and had a brother David Theodore Reid born in Saumur France in 1821 who died in Agra 25 June 1846. Their parents were David Reid of the Bengal Cavalry who died in Tours, France, on 4 Dec 1861 and Annette Monestie. According to the birth registration for David Theodore Reid, his father David Reid, a Captain in the service of England, had been born in London and was 30yrs, and his mother Annette Monestie, had been born in Luxembourg (Germany) and was 18yrs.
