Edward Cruse is my gt gt gt gt uncle. Edward's brother, James Cruse (1780-1853) emigrated to what is now Newfoundland, Canada, about 1800. James Cruse is my gt gt gt grandfather. As I'm in Canada I'm having difficulty finding documentary evidence for my ancestors in Devon. I have marriage documentation for Edward and Sarach Cruse from familysearch.org but until I found this site I had no idea as to when they passed away, nor that a photo of their grave marker was available.
