My great grandfather, Joseph Pierre Faraon (Pharaon) b. Smyrna 1856 d. NYC 1927 was a descendant of the same family Florian Pharaon was descended from. They were a Syrian family originally from Damascus circa 1600. Emigrating to Cairo, then branches went onto Trieste, Lebanon and Turkey. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Jeanne
