Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Researching my husbands grandfathers family tree. His Grandfather left the family home in Proserpine Qld, when his youngest daughter, my mother-in-law, was only 4 years old.Nothing more was ever heard of him.I have found out that he died in Beaudesert Hospital Beaudesert Qld on the 4-5-1986 and was interned at the Beaudesert Lawn Cemetery on the 8-5-1986.on his death certificate it states that he was never married. I do however have his marriage certificate to my husbands Grandmother, Doris Ellen Tetley in Proserpine Presbyterian Church on the 9-2-1925. I would appreciate any information as my mother-in-law is now 84 years old and has no information on her fathers family at all. Yhank you Kayleen Hiscox
