John Kearsley was my 3x Great Grandfather. His son, Peter Hind Kearsley, moved to South Hylton, Sunderland. His son, William Kearsley, lived in Sunderland and his daughter, Mary Kearsley, was my paternal grandmother. She married my Grandfather, Frederick Charles Sedgwick in 1912.
