I am researching this family for the Clan Davidson Association, in particular the earlier generations who lived in Newcastle, and at various locations in Co Durham, & North Yorkshire, prior to this line of the family migrating to Australia. This is a particularly important Davison family, who have left examples of their heraldry in a wide range of forms across North East England

Elizabeth & Capt. Francis Davison were my Great, Great, Grandparents, as I am 75 years old, I thought it about time I did some research for myself. My Mother was always very proud of her family background, but when my sisters and I were younger we didn't take a great deal of interest, now if I don't get a move on I will run out of time!
