Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Family history research - in this case for a friend. I have a lot of images of headstones mostly in Scotland which I would be very happy to share. None are of entire graveyards, but individual ones linked to my family or friends. Most of them are in Lanarkshire, Ayrshire, Dumfries & Galloway. Stress I am not a professional genealogist - just a passionate (obsessed!!) one who just does it all for love of the hobby!

For the last two years I have been researching my family tree. There were four lines that emigrated to Australia, two have died out, I feel that the same situation is the same for the third, but in my records to date the Golden Grove line of Kirks are the only ones remaining.
