Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

William Aitken Russell who migrated to NZ was first cousin to my James Russell who migrated to Australia. I am researching my family history.
(requested on 24 07 2013)
William Aitken Russell was part of my (Scottish) paternal line. His father was William Russell. His grandfather Archibald Russell was my ggggrandfather; his grandmother (my ggggrandmother) was Jean Aitken - hence his middle name. I had traced all his siblings and he was the most difficult to find, until his death record emerged. Even closer relatives than me exist in Canada and would also be interested to see the image. Afraid I can't help with photography at the moment - husband's health not ideal
