I have been researching the Sleigh family history. Robert Bignell was the great grandfather of a woman who married a Sleigh and who also married my Clirehugh second cousin. I have a lot of information on the family, but want to confirm the writing on the tombstone. I live in Sonoma, California, USA and cannot drop into the Brompton Cemetery!

I misplaced the image you sent me in August! I have just spent hours searching my hard drive for it, unsuccessfully. I remember it, but cannot find it. I have been researching Robert Richard Bignall born 1811 who lived at Stile Hall near Kew Bridge for the local archives. He was elected to the Brentford Local Board when it was formed and his name with those of the other Councillors appears on the first public building that was erected - the Sewage Pumping Station - in 1883.
