Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Matthew Noble is in my family tree on my mother's side. He would be a multiple great uncle. My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Hackness (Matthew Noble's birth place) and were impressed by his sculpture of Lady van den Bempde-Johnstone (d 1853) on the south wall of the chancel. I'm adding to his Wikipedia entry as I find out more.
