David Burley and wife Mary Jackson Burley(nee Brereton) were my relations. David was brother of my Emily Burley(GT, Gt grandmother)who married Henry Sheppard. Mary Jackson Brereton (born Bawtry Yorks) was David's wife. They had no living children.

David Burley was my great great uncle. He was the son of John Burley and Elizabeth nee Catchpole of Theberton Suffolk. He was a cheese and provision merchant in Ipswich. He married Mary Jackson Brereton of Bawtry Yorks. They had no living children. Mary Jackson Brereton's sister Martha Le Gay Brereton married David Burley's brother William.
