He completed a B.A. at Queens' College Cambridge in 1837 and was shortly after ordained. He became the vicar of Swilland in 1847 and remained there for the rest of his life. In 1850 he married Emma Witts, daughter of Broome Phillip Witts. They had no children. There is also a memorial to him inside the church. |
