Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Although living in Brixham, Devon I am a bona fide native of Harwich and, as such, I have a great interest in the Harwich Force of WW1 and in particular HMS Amphion, the first warship lost in the 1914-18. I am compiling a record of every crew member who served on that ship on the 6th August 1914, together with photographs (where possible) of them and their graves and/or memorials. I would very much like to obtain copies of the Shotley graves of the 4 who were buried there initially being COPLAND (528), DICK (526), FOSTER (052), MARTIN (047) and the young Royal Marine who later died of wounds KING-BROWN (548). If you can assist with these I will be very grateful indeed. I am always happy to provide photos of graves/memorials from the south Devon area. I did, in fact, serve as a member of the ahip's company of HMS Ganges way back in 1967. Very many thanks indeed for your kind consideration and help in this matter. Kindest regards Peter Haywood
