Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I have been researching the numerous branches of my family since 1985 (initially in person, but over the last 2 or 3 years via the internet) and, by a stroke of good fortune a year or so ago, I chanced upon some papers relating to the LUMPKIN/LUMKIN family of Cambridgeshire & Norfolk with whom I have distant connections. One of my 3xgt grandmothers was a Lumpkin, and the above Revd John Lumkin was a nephew of my 6xgts grandfather John Lumpkin of Newton. After gaining his LLB at St Benet College, Cambridge in the early 1750s, Revd Lumkin was ordained a Deacon in 1755; Curate in 1760; and then was Priest at Grundisburgh in 1762. He was appointed Rector of nearby Monewden 1763-1803, but clearly kept his connections with Grundisburgh. I now live at some distance from Suffolk, and a photo of such an early family memorial would be a wonderful addition to my archive of bith/marriage/resting places of the wider family. When the time comes, I hope that my researches will be treasured by those who come after me; if not, then I'm sure a local archive centre would welcome them. I do hope that you will be able to help me. With thanks.
