Eva May Cowans | 1934 | first name on monument | Lady Eva May Cowans (nee Coulson) was the wife of Sir John Steven Cowans who was Quartermaster General to the Forces from 1912 to 1919. The marriage did not result in children and he was a errant husband who died in April 1921. Following a service in Westminster Cathedral his body was borne with full military honours to St Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery at Kensal Green for burial.
