The calculated dates of birth should also be treated with caution as the ages given on monuments are often inaccurate.

Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am doing research on WW1 graves on Noordwijk Cemetry in Holland. Lt. Richard Ivor Pulleyne was buried here after his death on July 20th 1918. I am trying to reach distant relatives of al 22 identified graves here. Busy for about 1 year now, so far found about 8 relatives of victims. Pulleyne is a problem, can not find relatives although he came from a rich sollicitors family. So if you know someone, please send them my email address. Or send me theirs.. Hope this will work. Kind regards, Mark Sijlmans Noordwijk The Netherlands

I am researching Hm Submarine E-34, the submarine he went down on.

It is generally believed that this officer ( killed in action during WW1 ) is buried in Holland. Although born in Yorkshire, he lived largely in Southwold, Suffolk where his parents and siblings moved to. Despite this his name is not shown on that towns war memorial and I am endeavouring to correct that. Any additional information derived from a scrutiny of the grave of his sister may facilitate that.
