He moved away in 1925 and later took a post at the Scots Kirk in Rome.In early 1956 he was awarded the O.B.E. for his work among British citizens in Rome. In April 1956 he was decorated with the Dutch award of the Order of Orange Nassau in recognition of his services to the Netherlands community in Rome. |
