Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I have researched my family tree and my Great Grandfather shows as Richard Cooper on my grandfather's birth certificate (metal forging engineer ina Maidstone Kent, possibly a railway lines engineer) but he is not so far traceable. My grandfather is called Charles Balfour Cooper. As a result, I am researching the surname Balfour as it seems that my Great Grandmother has no record of a marriage. She was Mary Anne Elizabeth Appleton-Evans, daughter of Mary Anne Appleton and Charles Evans (Queen's Own 9th Lancers).
(requested on 10 10 2013)
I am searching for my family. Potential son is George Balfour married to Mary Wylie. Searching for George’s parents.
