Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Many thanks for this wonderful service you are performing. Although I've never travelled to Scotland, I remain proud of my roots in the highlands. It's wonderful to see that the historic stones of Monzie Churchyard are still being cared for. I would like a copy of this image because Alexander McLaren and Isabel Dougal are my 4th Great Grandparents, and Peter McLaren and Ann (Menzies) McLaren are my 5th Great Grandparents. In our family records there is a note stating that the tombstone also bears the inscription "Opposite this stone lys the body of Patrick", which we believe refers to Sir Patrick Menzies - who may have been the father or brother of Ann. In reviewing the list of stones I didn't see his name. Is he buried in Monzie Churchyard? And do you have any other information about him or the McLarens that might be helpful in untangling the family history? Thank you very kindly for your help! Bill Linton

Alexander McLaren and his wife Isabella are my husband's 4th gr. grandparents. They gave birth on 30th of Sept 1785 in Monzie, to a son Colin McLaren. Colin McLaren married Ann Wooderspoon, 19th of May 1815 in Monzie, Perth. Colon and his wife immigrated to the US and settled in Jefferson County, New York, USA. Thank you for your help.
