I am MargaretBackler from Adelaide , Australia , I believe Aubrey to be the son of Edward James Brecknock Palmer born 1859 Camberwell , died 1926 Kensington , I think Aubrey's mother was Edith Kate Brotherridge 1889 - 1972 ,her parents Ambrose James Brotherrige & Caroline Killard. Aubrey married Elsie Lilian Whatcott June 1938 , Stratford , Gloucestershire, Warwickshire , he died 18 August 1938 age 23 years . Elsie Lilian Palmer married 15 April 1939 to Leonard Morgan Green born 1912 ( Shottery Warwickshire ),Father Caleb Green . It would be wonderful to hear from anyone in your area about this family . Aubrey's father was the eldest son of Jane Mountain ,who married James Brecknock Palmer, they had a match factory in London , sold to Bryant & May . Jane Mountain's brother James Sellars Mountain is my grt grandfather , he migrated to Adelaide in 1854 . Many thanks Margaret

Family tree research an Arthur E Palmer married an Elsie Lillian Whatcott 1938 but she then remarried a Leonard Morgan Green in 1939 this grave stone came up from a search on ancestry I am just wondering if the monument might hold some information as to why Elsie married in less than a year she is my first cousin twice removed I look forward to your help Regards Paul
