Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Having recently purchased a copy of 'The Washburn Valley' by Diana Parsons, I believe I have photos of John and Jane Brown who are connected to my family tree through my grandmother - Lily Marshall.
(requested on 25 10 2014)
I think John Christopher Brown and Jane Brown are my great grandparents via my father, Harry Brown.
(requested on 13 10 2015)
For my tree info as Alice was my great Aunt as Lily (Hiley) Brown (is her sister) and is my grandmother. John Christopher Brown and Jane Emsley Brown are my great grandparents. I have been researching family for a few years and have finally found the Brown side from a cousin Heather (Speechly)Lawson. to Having left England for Australia at the age of 9 with my parents and siblings we never knew any family except the Marshalls on the Brown side, Pat and Margaret whose father George Marshall was a son of Jane Brown. Thank you for your help Val Hiley Dayhuff
