Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I'm researching my family tree. My great grandfather Walter Gill (1866 Drinkstone to 1950) lived all over the UK but his siblings (Gill and Rose) may have lived out their years close to Drinkstone. I also haven't establish who his father was but he died (or divorced) between 1867 and 1877 which is when Walter's gaurdian became Jacob Rose. I'm keen to find whatever links I can (not just ancestory.com). Thanks, Eric Holbrook, Melbourne, Australia.

I'm detailing George Gill's (b1837) children in an effort to establish who George's mother was. Charlotte Reage, Range, Kinge, Kedge or Hedge so far.

jAMES gill is listed on 1841 Census as living with my GG Grandparents in Rougham but I cannot make out what relationship he is to them so trying to find any info about him that might help my search.
