Working on family geneaology for McCrae family in Canada. This is a possible ancestor since we know there was a William McCrae who resided in the area and had a son born in 1798 named James McCrae. One the birth certificate the father's name is spelled McCray which we believe to be a misspelling since the son is spelled McCrae
