Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am researching my family history and am looking for the death of Charles Samuel Craven, born Staveley Derbyshire, in 1863 the son of Joseph and Margaret nee Robinson. I have him on the 1871, 1881 and 1891 census. He married Mary Elizabeth Gillingham in Darlington 1890. In 1891 he is a civil engineer. In 1916 a C S Craven, a civil engineer, travelled from Sierra Leone to Plymouth. He gave his permanent address as West Africa and address in the UK as Whitwell Vicarage I O W. I can't find a UK death and wonder if this stone gives a place of death. Thank you.

I have today visited the grave and found the writing difficult to read. I am wondering if your image may be clearer. I am researching Charles Samuel Craven on behalf of the chairman of the Northern Football League. The league are celebrating their 125 anniversary of their founding in March this year. CSC was their founder. It is hoped to hold a ceremony in Felbridge at the end of March.
