Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

My grandmother was Grace Ballentyne Meikle born July 9, 1876 at Torphin, West Calder, then lived in the family homestead at Duns. Grandma (Meikle) Duly's parents were Grace (Ballentine) Meikle and Richard Meikle - farmer. I've taken a photo of the monument in Duns but yours is new to me. I have a wedding photo of her and her husband if you care to receive it. By law, I was not allowed in 1992 to see or touch the birth certificate but the lady in the municipal office read it to me. Thanks in advance. Norm Reid
