Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I believe I am a descendant of Thomas Baron and Hannah.Their daughter Elizabeth married a Johnson - and I believe this Johnson is my ancestor. (Although if I am correct, this branch changed their spelling from Johnson to Johnston in about 1800.) My ancestor William Johnston was born in Bywell. Kind Regards, Kathryn (Australia)

I believe this is the headstone of my gggggg grandparents. My ancestors originate from Bywell Northumberland - many were Christened and married in this church. My ancestors moved south in mid 1800s (I live in Essex), so it's difficult for me to visit Bywell although I hope to do so one day. What is particularly interesting about this gravestone is that it appears to have two different spellings of our surname - Thomas BARON and his wife Hannah BARRON. A higher resolution image might confirm this. I am a beginner in family history research but I would of course be pleased to photograph any monuments here in mid Essex for anyone researching their family history. Many thanks.
