My family left Gravesend 1849 arrived south Australia 1850 on sailing vessel Sea Queen They were Samuel Jennings Mary Jane Jennings (nee Tucker) Children William Jennings Jabez Arthur Jennings Joseph James Jennings born 4th June 1839 Sarah Elizabeth Jennings I am great, great grandson of Jabez Sarah Elizabeth & Joseph James Baptized at Holy Trinity Clapham October 24 1841. Believe Joseph died somewhere late 1841 or months later All family were reported 1841 Census except Joseph James. Samuel’s father James Jennings I have never been able to find, or his mother Elizabeth Jennings (nee Smith) Samuel Jennings Died here in the benevolent out patients in1897 I have death certificate stating mother and father. fred bear: I would dearly like to know about Joseph James Jennings Resting place where is he at peace now, and also the James Jennings who was Samuel’s dad. I have Bradford and Kirkstall as points of interest Samuel was born in Yorkshire married at St Swithins 1836. All the many family here have been buried as Methodists Thanking you Mr. D Jennings
