Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

This would be my 5 times great grandfather on my mother’s side and we are tracing as much as we can. She and her mother and sister visited Scotland about 25 years ago and didn’t have the information then. My sisters and I are hoping to visit and trace our family heritage and possibly meet some relatives in the near future.
