Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

John McGuire and his wife Mary Ann Moran are ancestors of my wife and her mother. John’s father William and his mother Margaret are buried at the Saint Wilfred cemetery down the road. But John, who died at the age of 50 in 1911, was predeceased by his wife Mary Ann in either 1901 (after the census) or 1902. I cannot find a death record or grave location for Mary. I have found a death record for John, and using that narrowed down and found a December 1911 article in a Pickering newspaper that says his funeral and burial will be at the Catholic Church. I assume this is St Francis de Sales. But there is no John McGuire listed. My guess for now is that the “McGuire Family” grave could be John and Mary. However, there is also a headstone at the Saint Wilfred cemetery that is just says McGuire with “Father” across the top, so maybe that’s him…
