Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Andrew Dawson , Birth 1817, is my great grandmother's father. She is the daughter of Andrew and Josette Gurreau when they lived in North Dakota and Montana, USA. My grandmother lived out her life with her American Indian tribe and was called Yellow Corn Woman or Snow. I am putting together my family history and I am interested in Andrew's family history in Scotland. I am willing to share information that I have gathered on Andrew and his sons.
