Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

My Great Grandfather was Albert George Skinner, who married Margaret Power in 1906 in Southwark London, they lived in Woodbridge and had 9 children. Elieen Skinner was my Grand Mother who married James Dillon in 1941 and had four children. I am researching the family tree for my father and hope to find out more information about Margaret Power as Albert died at 38 from wounds from WW1 leaving her with so many children and it must have been very tough and my father remembers a very fearful Granny of Irish descent. All we know is she was from Waterford in Ireland and lived in a lighthouse she never spoke much of her childhood....

We have a George Skinner on our war memorial in Padstow Cornwall and we have no idea why he is there. A long shot that there is a possibility of a local connection.
