Emma Barker
first name on monument191* Emma Barker was born in 1820 and died in about 1901.She was unmarried and had worked for Thomas Waller as his housekeeper since 1852, when she took over the position from Mary Ann Barker who had died.Looking at the gravestone I think I can decipher the word housekeeper and the name Thomas Waller. I can see the number 30 but am not sure if it says 1830 or 30 years before the word housekeeper.Thank you for the photo. It's fantastic.

Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

My great great grandmother was buried at All Saints in 1852. She was Mary Ann Barker. She had a close relative, not sure if she was a sister or a cousin, Emma Barker, who died in about 1901. I am hoping that this is Emma's grave and possibly Mary Ann's as well. They were both unmarried.
